Yeah it does, but I experience slowdown, which is kinda irritating, especially when you're in an awesome firefight with a lot of supermutants. Try lowering your graphics settings.... They can be found by launching the "fallout 3 launcher" executable in fallout 3's data folder...

Has anyone played the Pitt and what do you think about it? Nope. I haven't played either expansion, and I haven't put more than 3-6 hours into the game as a whole (Including both 360 and PC versions, and all the times I've had to sit through the beginning of the bloody game). The last time I really tried to have a go at playing it, it was VERY crash-happy, so I just decided to play other games for awhile. That said, which version of the game do you have? Real or Console?

I have it for the 360. Sometimes it will freeze up but I haven't really had a lot of problems with the game overall.

Hmm strange how some people have constant crashes whilst others have no problems at all. I have had about 2 crashes since I started playing. Must be up to about 60 hours of gameplay now.

I have the occasional hang (mostly at parts where I haven't saved for quite a while ). Also, I might download the DLCs tonight. I have a shiny new Debit MasterCard that I haven't used on Live yet...

I was under the impression he was playing the 360 version. I could be wrong though... You should know, you can see my 360 profile Yeah I have the 360 version. However, for the record I use a 64bit Edition of Windows Vista Business that came bundled with my AMD Athlon 64bit Laptop. However, your warning about using cards on XBOX reminded me how my Mum's debit card still gets auto renewed 3 years after I stopped using my old LeoMike account. Fortunately, the Direct Debit just automatically refuses the transaction because my Mum's Debit card numbers are different to the account being billed but it is rather annoying that they can't take the hint.

Meh, it don't matter to me. I got a full TB on this thing, and I'm not anywhere near close to even 50% capacity. Yee-frickin'-haw.

I can appreciate the tech, but honestly it just seems like a ton of wasted space. I can't see the boost in performance being worth tossing all that money on what basically amounts to redundant HDDs.

Well, as I have a 4 disk array, my data access is extremely quick; Also, my array can withstand the array the loss of any single disk, and several two-disk combination before any data loss would occur. Ideally though, I'd just run them all as a giant RAID 0 array (striping), but because of the legacy nature of the partitioning system Windows/my BIOS uses, I'm limited to 2TB per bootable volume (Master Boot Record {MBR} disks are limited to 2TB by the MBR)--If my computer used an EFI BIOS, that limit would not exist. However, as on Friday I will receive the best overclocking motherboard in the world, I don't see that as that big of a deal....

I would assume they will do something similar for F3, if only for the poor PS3 owners that missed out.

I am rather confused by the PS3s lack of Downloadable Content.... does anyone know if there is a solid reason for it? Sony are a bunch of Nazis? Seriously, hadn't you ever heard the rule about Sony products? It goes as such: "Every Sony product must have at least one cripplingly stupid design flaw." For example, for the PSP, it was: 1: Only one analog stick, and on the wrong side at that; 2: Use of a proprietary media that no one (and nothing) else uses. 3: Lack of direct TV-Out functionality on early PSP models (since fixed). ...And it looks like future revisions may ditch UMD totally, which could leave them with no means to have a physical presence at retail for/with/by their games.....

Okay, so let's ignore the PS3 hate-fest for a moment... There are two very compelling arguments for console gaming over PC gaming. The first and easiest is price. Even the hefty PS3 is bargain-basement compared to even a middling gaming rig, let alone the sort of behemoth you're building, Digits. Second (related to the first, as well) is compatibility/ease of use. When you buy a console, you know without question that it will play your games as well as the games themselves are designed (barring M$'s POS consoles that fail on you straight from the box). To answer Leo's question about DLC (without the PC quasi-jingoism), I'd guess that it's probably a translation issue. Since the 360 shares identical architecture to a standard PC, dumping the content onto the Xbox marketplace was probably a wave of the hand. Odds are changing the code to work on the PS3 is more complicated. Either that, or another ass-fucking exclusivity deal. I hate those things. Yes, I'm talking about GTA4.

The first quoted paragraph is simply not true; The Xbox's CPU is a tri-core 3.2GHz POWERPC processor, while all consumer PC's currently on the market are based on X86. That's like comparing a Mac G5 (the last PPC-based Mac) with the next generation's intel-X86-based Mac Pro's.... Really, it's probably some combination of exclusivity deals, system network, and Sony's inability to put out a product without glaringly stupid design flaws.
