Let's get things started.
Giddings Mall is ruined and so is the Farmer cluster. The recent rise in zerger activity has wrecked quite a few buildings.
Let's begin by establishing a foothold. Clear and barricade:
Norgan Library The Junkyard Mumford Towers

I'm currently at the Billet Road Fire Station [86, 44]. Infected and pretty torn up. There's currently three more guys there who're pretty hurt. If anyone has a pile of FAKs that'd be the place to go.

I've flung some FAKs around in Billet Road Fire Station.
I'll need to restock since I'm out of everything so I'll just give out some targets after a small amount of scouting
The Farmer Building (1 zombie) St Benedict's Hospital (? zombies) Pallaye Library (? zombies)
As always, start at the top of the list and work your way down once the building is cleared and barricaded.

I am laying on the cemetery waiting for enough AP to stand and move. I'll check Farmer on my way to St. Benedict's!

Stood up and started moving, Farmer Building and St. Benedict's are both in pretty bad shape. I am holed up in Lavor Alley School , south of the target area. As soon as I have some AP I can start working on clearing out some of the Farmer Building zeds.

The Morrish Building is still standing, only 2 people inside though. I have just been trying to get people back on their feet.

Yeah, I already ran out of needles. 7 zombies in St Benedict's is quite a tough target. We probably won't be able to succeed, but let's have a go anyway.
Target: St Benedict's Hospital Date: Monday 5th December

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////[countdown: Prepare for a strike on St Benedict's Hospital in...=December 05 2016 11:59 PM 0]Attack now![/countdown] |

Yes, Sir! *salute*
I am still camping out in Lavor Alley School. I have 6 FAKs and a fuel can on me. I have Pallaye Library, one south of St. Benedict's Hospital, cleaned up and heavily barricaded.
I will do my best to maintain Lavor Alley School and Pallaye. (should I do this in accordance with the posted barricade plan? or just keep them up and in good repair?)
I will also take a look at Mumford Towers on my next AP cycle.

Both Lavor Alley School and Pallaye Library should be Extremely Heavily Barricaded, if you have the AP to do so. Only Norgan Library should be Very Strongly. With the gatehouse ruined, the Hunter Building can be whatever barricade level anybody passing by wants.

Only 1 zed left in Benedicts on 30-something HP if someone can finish him and make the repair, which is already up to 16ap

That's convenient. I've shot the zombie and repaired St Benedict's Hospital. I'm at -9 HP so can someone barricade? Someone lit up the building already which is odd but also convenient.
I'll update the strike target to something else once I scout out an appropriate building. Suggestions are welcome! Probably either the mall, fort or Farmer Building will be the new target if nobody suggests one.
Also, post here if you can join in on the strike, or post when you can arrive if you can't.

Got killed by the alpha zergs, I think they are going to try and pinata the building I was in (Halberry Boulevard PD) seen as they left it unruined. Is anyone alive able to get the cades up to stop a Pinata? One person is inside the PD right now, they seem legit.... urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=2250857

I got up and revived you and Melvin. At least you guys are almost as close as possible to the strike target. No problems with wasted AP there. Let's hope there's no extra zombies by the time the strike starts.

I revived Christopher Tobin and ChainReaction.
I didn't have much AP after that but left a zombie at 11 HP. There's still 3 zombies inside.

Do they always move this quickly? I'm stuck in an adjacent building (Norgan Library, one block West) with no cades. They just seem to rip everything down immediately. Also, I have been getting killed every day by various humans. Do we ever catch a break? Just asking because I am new... we just seem to have one hell of a herculean battle, that's all.

UD has zerg problem. Here in Pitneybank we have it particularly bad. Recently I've noticed a lot of survivors have left the area, making things a lot worse.
Do you have the profiles or names of the humans who keep killing you? That's definitely not normal. I haven't been killed by a survivor character in months.

I have been PKed a good few times recently, by the 9/11 guys and sometimes a few profiles I didnt recognise
One of the main things is to keep the revive points flowing and getting people back into the action fast

I'll start tracking the UDIDs of those that kill me. The ones I remember were from some kind of 9/11 group, some Pilot/Flight school group, and a non affiliated who said that CDF were PKers and we should all die, lol.

We've seen those guys around before. They must be picking on you because you're new. They're a group of zerger characters that appear every so often to help out the zombies.
The revive points are looking good. There were 8 zombies at the cemetery this morning and now it is empty. That's very quick. There's only 4 zombies at Walrond Square. The low survivor population is a big problem right now. I assumed the mall would had been taken back quickly, but that hasn't happened. Let's restock and start focusing on the buildings around the mall.

Roger that! I am assuming that its the closest mall? I will consult the map and head toward buildings around Giddings Mall. Morrish is in bad shape. Ruined with three zeds inside. I have Byrne Auto Repair (83,43) repaired and at VSB, one zed outside, so I might be dead by the time I wake up. What is the RP in this area of Pitneybank?

Walrond Square, just below Morrish.

I'll be at Walrond. Just as I suspected, I am dead and Byrne Auto Repair is swarmed and destroyed. Newbie question: How is it possible for us to ever gain any ground? It seems that any and all actions we take are immediately followed by an overwhelming tide of undead. Never any foothold, never any chance of success. Between zombies who outnumber us, are just as fast and organized as us, and human players that can completely ignore barricades and kill with impunity, it seems that people who want to play actual survivors are kind of immediately and permanently fucked.

It's is tough right now, but it isn't what the game is normally like. It will pass. This is actually just one guy with lots of accounts and spare time. Normally the game is more balanced than this. It looks particularly bad but I suspect he spends a lot of time beating back the tide just before we log in. I can't really offer much advice, except to play in a more cautious and less aggressive way than elsewhere in the game.

Roger that! I don't mean to sound defeatist, I really like the game, and I enjoy interacting with CDF. I guess I am just motivated for a "win," and I would really like to be up long enough to gain some XP. I am still dead at Walrond. Is there some place that I could meet with a more experienced member when I am revived? I check the forums daily and would be willing to work for/report to that member while I learn.
